Product Parameter
This product is a mixture of triketone, sulfonylurea, and triazine herbicides. It is absorbed through the stems, leaves, and roots of plants and translocated upward, inhibiting the activity of p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) and plant photosynthesis. It acts on plant acetolactate synthase to block the synthesis of branched-chain amino acids, leading to tyrosine accumulation and plastoquinone depletion in plant meristematic tissues. This causes yellowing of meristematic tissues, followed by necrosis, resulting in growth stagnation, chlorosis of stems and leaves, and gradual death of sensitive plants.
When used at the recommended dosage, it provides good control of annual weeds in corn fields.
